The following recourses can help your girls have fun in the community. Many of these activities can be used to help them with their Journeys. See the Journey heading below and the resources that can aid the girls in accomplishing it.

First Aid/Authority Badge

 

Richland Fire Department:

Depending on the Girl Scout age level, the firefighters will give the girls/troop a tour of the station, trucks and gear. Older scouts can learn CPR!

Beaver Park:

Bever Park is a landscaping and nursery business. They will have an staff member talk to the girls/troop about plant families, meaning of flower colors, plants as medicine, etc.
