Region 7 Calendar
Service Unit Volunteer of the Month:
Each month we highlight one of our fabulous volunteers from each of Region 7's Service Units. There are 6 total.
These volunteers have stood out with their dedication to the Girl Scout mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character.
*If you are submitting a nomination, please make sure to do so before the last day of the month. Service Unit Meetings start promplty at the beginning of each month, which is where these wonderful volunteers will be recognized.
(There won't be any recipients for July of every year, since Service Units tend to take a short break this month and meet back up in August. Enjoy your summer!)

We have so many great things to say about Dianne! She is so passionate about everything Girl Scouts and definitely "bleeds green." Dianne is a Co-Treasurer for Service Unit 460, an Outdoor and Event Director Facilitator for our council and a member of the AFECT team. We are so thankful to have you Dianne!
Tiffanie, where do we start? You are simply amazing. Tiffanie is always seeking to fill in programming holes within the area. She is constantly thinking about ways to improve the girl scouting experience and is sure to put those ideas to work. Thank you, for all you do!
Rene is such an asset to Girl Scouts and Prosser wouldn't be the same without her and her troop. Rene's Troop has 20+ girls, with an equal amount of registered adults. She has one of the biggest hearts we've ever known and she applies it to every aspect of her life. Thank you, Rene, for all you do.
Although Leslie does not have a child in Scouting, she has taken it upon herself to be a troop leader. She is a great communicator and a wonderful organizer. Not only does she drive on a daily basis to uphold the Girl Scout Law in troop settings, she continually demonstrates Girl Scout morals within her family and personal life as well. You rock, Leslie.
Brinn Harberts is a fantastic Troop co-leader with 1232. Each year, Brinn has taken on more responsibility within her Troop and has been a saving grace for the main leader. She is always cool, calm and collected - which helps set the tone for the Troop leadership setting. In addition to being appreciated by the adults, the Girl Scouts of Moses Lake love her! Thank you, Brinn!
Kate is great! She always has such a positive, welcoming attitude and constantly strives to be a good role model for those around her. The Girl Scouts of Walla Walla are lucky to have Kate to guide them in all of their endeavors. We feel the same!

Frankie Meaders is an asset to the Pasco Service Unit and to the entire Girl Scout community. She is a long-time Outdoor Facilitator and is always very engaging and entertaining to the girls in the area throughout various programming and events. We are lucky to have you, Frankie!
Taryn is a new Girl Scout volunteer and she stepped up with a smile to take over the Service Unit Cookie Manager role this year. All of Prosser, Benton City and West Richland Girls wouldn't have been able to sell cookies if it weren't for all of Taryn's hard work! We appreciate you so much, Taryn!
Carrie Hallquist is the Treasurer within the Richland Service Unit. She is always very accommodating to the new and current leaders within the area. She is also very appreciated on a Troop level. Thank you for all you do, Carrie.
Edra Chamberlin is quite amazing. If it weren't for her, the Daisies and Brownies in the Moses Lake area would not have a Troop. She took over a Troop this year and has really turned around the dynamic of the Troop and continues to ensure happiness, excitement and new experiences for the Girl Scouts of SU 491. We don't know what we would do without you, Edra.
Tiffany Jenes is a such a kind-hearted and welcoming person. All the Leaders and Girl Scouts in the Walla Walla area would likely tell you that they adore Tiffany. We are so appreciative of all the hard work and love she exerts in the Girl Scout community. Thank you, Tiffany.
